On the Origins of Songs – In a Big Country

Anyone has the right to be suspicious when a band’s biggest song shares it’s name with the band (Wilco’s Wilco the Song), but Big Country’s In a Big Country really is one of the finest things to come out of Scotland. Of Course, I’m firing off half-cocked because if you asked ‘What else has come out of Scotland?’ I’d say I don’t know. Bagpipe guitar has never sounded better.
